Research Experience

Research on effect of molecular container to guest molecules

BUCT, 06/2005 – present

  • Compared different optimization methods and found the most proper one for this host-guest system
  • Calculated the frequency of guest molecules and made sure it is in the stable state
  • Compared the single point energy of encapsulated guest molecules with that of free molecules and analyzed the reasons of difference
Research on dyeing properties of bamboo fibers

QDU, 09/2003 - 06/2004

  • Planned and scheduled the investigations
  • Colored bamboo fiber with Cuprofix Blue Green B (S) (C.I. Direct blow 86)
  • Sought ways to prevent dyes from aggregating
  • Studied dyeing properties of fibers mainly in kinetics
  • Compared dyeing properties of bamboo fibers with cotton fibers
Treatment of waste water from dyeing and finishing industry

QDU, 10/2002 - 01/2003

  • Sampled from the hill behind my university
  • Trained and screened White-rot fungi from other
  • Treated waste water with these fungi in simulating environment
